Lets dig deep into the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts to see why you can’t find jobs there.

I want to understand the relationship between H-1B visa applications and Texas State Contracts and Verify that they are being paid by the state of Texas.

These are the companies that I found in the 2025 H-1B applications data that filed H-1B applications where the Texas Comptrolllers office was listed as the Secondary Entity.

Well this isn’t exactly how I hoped my day would start.

After 8 years, I just got laid off – as did 16k of my peers.

But before anyone rushes in with explanations that make them feel better, let me be clear about what this wasn’t.

It wasn’t performance and it wasn’t AI.

It wasn’t location, versatility or impact.

I was an L7, I led global AI enablement.

I built systems executives depended on, moved wherever the company needed me and fixed problems that had been sitting untouched because no one else could untangle them.

And I was still cut.

Texas wants to sell Liquid Natural Gas (LNG) and oil to India to replace Russian energy.

Texans are waking up to the fact that Senator Cornyn and Governor Abbott has destroyed their future and the ability to provide for their families by actively working to import a tidal wave of nonimmigrant workers from countries like India.

And that our colleges/universities and government agencies are using our taxpayer money to hire these foreign workers ahead of Texans and allowing them to use techniques like this to discriminate against Americans.

And now we are finding out that our other senator, Senator Cruz is actively working to deprive Texans of a future by wanting to put together a deal with India to benefit our oil trade.

What happens if a deal sweetner like more H-1B or L-1 visas is included in the deal?

Will that not deprive you of good paying jobs as well?

Senator Cruz need to determine if he stands for Texas workers, or for Texas businesses no matter what happens to the workers.

I would urge him to choose carefully because as Sara points out, we have had enough.

There really are two ways to get to the top.

  1. you can have natural talent like mine that has been acquired by fixing problems and developing solutions over decades
  2. you can graduate with honors from our best schools at the top of your class

Either of these was a sure fire way to the top until the H-1B scam.

What changed?

Texas A&M University had deprived Texas Families of at least $3,252,339.17 in jobs and salaries since 1 Jan 2020.

Texas A&M is a state entity, governing 11 universities and 8 specific state agencies, all overseen by a Board of Regents appointed by the Governor of Texas.

Rather than preparing our Texas Families for Jobs of the Future, they have been hiring nonimmigrant workers on visas like the H-1B.

Is it any wonder why they no longer teach Texas Values?

According to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services H-1B Data Hub, 659 H-1B beneficiaries have been approved at Texas A&M since 2020 through September 30, 2025, the most recent period available. Across the entire Texas A&M System — which includes entities such as AgriLife Extension and Texas A&M University at Galveston — the number of approved H-1B workers exceeds 1,400, according to the data hub.

Nationally, the majority of those visas go to workers from India and China. Federal data show 72% of H-1B visas are awarded to workers from India and about 12% to workers from China, according to USCIS figures.

The privately operated H-1B Salary Database, which catalogs labor condition applications filed with the U.S. Department of Labor, one of the first steps in the H-1B process, shows that the overwhelming majority of Texas A&M’s filings in 2025 were for lower-level instructional roles.

They referred to the USCIS H-1B HUB for approved H-1B’s and h1bdata.info which I refuse to use because the data is edited, so I turned to my own site at guestworkervisas.com where I know the data is unedited.

If I was the Dallas Express, I would recommend they either use my system in the future or download the source data from USCIS so that they can get more accurate totals.

While there is a possibility that there may be an additional company in the data that had A&M in its name, I do not have the staff that the Dallas Express has so I felt it was better to let you judge who is using Texas Taxpayer Money to Deprive Texans of a future.

If we turn to the H-1B LCA applications data, we find a similar discrepancy in the number of applications and the job titles are not trivial low paying positions.

I will show one year (2025) summarized here.

I will bet our Texas Families that want to be teaching the kids of tomorrow would love being able to compete for these jobs.

Keep in mind that Dallas Express cited multiple years from 2020 till present day.

While I haven’t totaled the data up myself, I believe you will find that it is much more than $3,252,339.17 in wages, unless of course A&M was citing actual payroll data as collected by their paycheck processing company.

Ask yourself this.

If all Texas State Agencies are using Foreign Workers rather than American Workers, how does that help provide a better future for Americans in America?

And if that money that they operate on is our tax money, do we have the right to demand that no taxpayer money be used to hire anyone who does not have a 100% american workforce?

As we can see the H-2A visa was used to bring in even more workers during 2024 than the H-1B which is the most talked about visa.

Now we are going to increase the H-2B visa by doubling it?

This means our most skilled jobs are being given to high skilled workers from other countries.

And now we are giving our lowest skilled jobs to workers from other countries?

What kind of an idiot would come up with a plan like that?

Too many people know that they cannot find good paying jobs.

It doesn’t matter if they graduated with honors from our best STEM colleges.

It doesn’t matter if they have decades of experience, knowledge and wisdom in our most challenging STEM jobs.

But they can’t understand why which is what this site has been developed to help with.

It takes years, if not decades to understand all the pieces.

We will help you understand why here.

This first issue I will try and give a high level overview.

  • Between 1939 and now we have historically created 1.5 million jobs per year on average. In 2025 we created 584,000 which was far below average.
  • We issued nearly 11 million nonimmigrant visas in 2024 with about 836,780 being work visas to take jobs in America from Americans like yourself.
  • These foreign born workers are typically hired before Americans and as of 24 Jan 2026, the percentages were:
    • Americans get 55% of all jobs created since Jan 2007
    • Foreign Workers get 45% of all jobs created since Jan 2007
  • This report is typically released on the first friday of the month with the Employment Situation Report.
  • It is called Table A-7.
  • I simply collect the Employed data for each month for both the Foreign Born and the Native Born worker.

Note: You will notice the number of jobs created as shown on the Employment Situation Report each month is different than the number of jobs that is calculated each month where the White House will show you that they created 2,043,000 jobs for native born americans and 383,000 jobs for foreign born workers. As an example for the month of Dec 2025, the employment situation report shows that we created 50,000 jobs, not 2,043,000 jobs.

As an example, I will show you the Dec 2025 results of table A-7. I have it automatically generate the following 3 views using the same exact data so that you can see what actually is happening:

  • Current Month vs Previous Month Summary
  • This Year vs Last Year Summary
  • Oldest Month vs Newest Month Summary (this is done to eliminate the noise in the monthly fluctuations.

The noise I refer to can be seen in these 4 charts that are different views of the same data.

With this knowledge you can easily figure out what actually happened when the montly Employment Situation Report is issued, and this will help you to understand why you can’t find good paying jobs in America. It is updated monthly as the Presidential Job Creation Scorecard.
